small town babies

last night we went out to some dance night at chop suey, masterfactor or fatherfucker or some other name i don't remember. this town is so funny -- seattle kids think if they all look the same, speak the same and know the same people that they're cool. i miss diversity! or maybe i'm just tired of seeing the same five people at every party.

girl -- black leggings, black hair, thick bangs, eyeliner, striped shirt. red pumps probably
guy -- sleeveless 80's kitsch tee, tight skinny pants, faux mullet, high tops

oh well. i left after an hour and told j to meet me at work. three shots of tequila, a run in with j's ex and a boob comparison between myself and rk later, we ended up back at the egg room. the music was better than at the club, so we DANCED. j ended up downing god knows how many vodka lemon sodas (he says that they hydrate him while he's drinking, which is the silliest thing i've ever heard) and has been nursing the most horrific hangover all day. more accurately, i've been nursing his hangover . . .

last night i wondered how i'd ever found going out so alluring and all-important. i felt so lost. missed having a conversation with someone (anyone!). am i getting old?
